2015 was definitely a year of achievement for frobelles across the globe. Here are some of the international ladies who made the spotlight for all the right reasons and we're sure will continue to do so this year.
British recording artist Fleur East had us shuffling to her chart topping single SAX which reached number three on the Official Singles Chart. We loved the high energy she gave in her video. Go Fleur!
Then across the pond we witnessed history being made in America with talented Viola Davis being the first African American woman, as well as the first black woman of any nationality to win the prime time Emmy Award for outstanding lead actress in a drama series. Ms Viola we salute you!
Lineisy Montero, the 19 year old model from the Dominican Republic graced no less that 32 fashion shows internationally and proudly rocked her TWA. Dubbed the IT girl among 2015’s fashion circuit, Montero showed the world that models with natural hair can and should have a definitive place in high fashion.
Touching down in the motherland - the always graceful and classy Kenyan Lupita N’yongo showed us more of her talent as part of the new Star Wars cast. We’ve seen her flourish and cannot wait to see what else she has in store this year.
Dr Sanneta Myrie
Jetting off and touching down in tropical Jamaica, Dr Sanneta Myrie finished in top five of the 65th Miss World Competition in Sanya, China. She made history as the first contestant to wear her hair in gorgeous locks.
Meanwhile 1,104 miles away in the beautiful island of Martinque, Morgane Edvige caught our attention when she graced the stage of Miss France finishing as the second runner up. Her many wardrobe changes were perfectly complimented by her versatile styled 'fro.
