Begin with stretched hair.
Separate the front section, starting from your ear and secure the back hair to keep it out of the way.
To get the smoothest results, you may wish to brush the front to lay down the hair in advance of braiding.
Start with a small section close to the ear to begin your braid Separate the section into three and braid using the 'grab under and pull over technique'.
Once the front braid is complete and depending on your hair length, you may wish to tie the back up in a braided bun, or secure the back in a small bun and cheat with adding a natural looking clip-in that you can braid to achieve a fuller look.
